Simulation and tuning software for Anri Sala's All of a Tremble, a music box built from an antique wallpaper roller. With Grappa Studio, Paris.
Starting from an antique roller for printing wallpaper, the artist Anri Sala wanted to build a music box. With Grappa Studio in Paris we began with a musical comb tuned to the notes the artist chose.
I developed the simulation software of the artwork, which the artist used for tuning and to design the hardware. All of a Tremble was shown at the 2017 Venice Biennale.
