Invented musical instruments

I like to play music with every kind of instrument, even things that aren't musical instruments. Sometimes I build them myself.

Venestesia

Play the island of Venice like a musical instrument: a multisensory work combining tactile models with a sound map of the city, designed for blind and partially sighted people. Read the project.

Zillitron

Built by combining old and new technologies: woodworking, 3D printing, electronics and programming. Inside are an Artiphon Instrument One, a Roli Seaboard Block, a Genki Wave Ring, an Arduino Nano 33 BLE, an Epiphone guitar body, a Bose speaker, a wireless transmitter and a laser distance sensor.

Today the Zillitron also exists in virtual reality: ZillitronVR, for Meta Quest, is played with bare hands.

Parco armonico

I had a dream: to install 20 different musical instruments in a park in my home town. Thanks to the non-profit association VivaPiraghetto, it came true.

Partyphon

A battery-powered, guitar-style MIDI controller with a built-in speaker and a phone holder. It makes the Artiphon louder and more comfortable to play on the move.
